Award winning watercolour artist Tina Holley will be showing her work for the first time at this year’s Peebles Wood Market in the marquee on the green.
Tina describes herself as having spent most of her life amongst trees, and much of her childhood climbing up them! This passion is reflected in her extensive range of paintings and prints of trees in all seasons, even through to painting 230 million year old mineralised logs, work produced as Artist in Residence in the Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona in 2016.
Having been a regular exhibitor at wood festivals during her many years spent in Wales, Tina is looking forward to showing her work at the Forest Festival as she is now living in the Scottish Borders.
Tina Holley has been invited hold an exhibition in Dawyck botanical Garden from August to November 2019, and is enjoying exploring the region and the autumn colours as she prepares for this show.
