Halloween Fun Day at Traquair
Ghouls, Games and Ghostly Tales for all the family!!

Traquair’s Halloween is for all ages and dispositions! For those who enjoy getting a little bit scared to those that just want the treats and fun, there are games, activities and shows all day long.
The day includes Magic and Mind Reading Shows in the Dining Room, Spooky Stories with the White Witch in the woods; a Spooky Scavenger hunt in the grounds as well as a chocolate Ghostie Hunt in the Traquair Maze.
If you are fascinated by creepy crawlies now is your chance to feel a tarantula or pick up a snake with an experienced ranger. And if you have come without a costume there will be a wizards and witches workshop in the High Gallery to try out you skills as a wand or pointy hat maker.
Take a trip down the Spooky Cellar Experience if you dare, have a spooky face painted and get dressed up for Halloween Fancy Dress competition. For those with a sweet tooth there are traditional Halloween Games such as treacle doughnut catching, apple dunking a Spooky Lucky Dip.
